A friend of mine recently lambasted me for my inconsistent blog postings (some weeks I post once, others six times). He told me that when he gets bored, er, not to say that he's bored, but that when he's caught up on his work and he's got some down time, and not that the blog is a last resort because really, it is entertaining, but he checks it out and when I don't post anything it's a disappointment...

To stop his stream-of-consciousness monologue on my inconsistency I made a commitment that I would post five days a week. If you know me personally or have been with TLT for awhile then you know I almost always have something to say, it's just a matter of getting it online.

Some days I'll post about an adventure I've had, others will just be a "heads up" to something going on in Chicago. For example, earlier this week I went to the Museum of Surgical Science and yesterday I learned about Hash House Harriers (no, not THAT hash). Tonight I'm going to either shopCHICago or WhiskyFest - guess correctly and I'll put your name in next week's newsletter (but it has to be before tomorrow's blog.)

So be sure to check the blog frequently and find out why at least one person feels there's a void in the universe if I'm neglectful. And leave your comments - whether you think I'm witty and entertaining or I should just hang my self-indulgent copy out the window to be torn away by our famous winds.
