Yes, EVERYONE has a cell phone
I'm walking down Broadway this afternoon. At the Belmont intersection, right in front of the Walgreens, sat a man hawking Streetwise. He does this every day. He sits in a lawn chair and his dufflebag full of the $1 rags sits beside him, and as you walk by he generally calls out "Streetwise, Streetwise" in a nod to yesteryear's "Extra, Extra". (If you're not familiar with Streetwise, it's the newspaper offered by Chicago's homeless in an effort to provide something of value in return for the money they receive from passer-by.)
Today I didn't hear his call. He was on a cell phone.
Yes. A cell phone. The homeless are also wireless.
