WOW - The Local Tourist Wins An Emmy

When I participated in the NBC Street Team coverage of Looptopia back in May, I was excited to be a part of the innovative experience. Throughout the overnight arts & culture festival, a group of us blogged, tweeted, shot video and still photos, interviewed, and generally used every means technologically available to capture the event.

I guess we did a good job, because last night we were awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Achievement for Alternate Media/New Media Interactivity!!!
