Hello Local Tourists!

My name is Meredith Krupa, and I am your new North host! I will be posting topics, tidbits, events and randomness about Chicago's Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Boystown, and Wrigleyville areas (and the places in between!). Come back to check out all of the fun things to do in this area. I'm off to the 41st Annual Sheffield Garden Walk right now, and I hope to post some pictures for you tomorrow from my adventures. In addition to the traditional "Garden Walk" (which really is what it sounds like- a walk through people's gorgeous flowers and greenery that they maintain all summer in preparation for this event), there are many other things to check out, like food, vendors, live music and activities for kids. This is all going down at the intersection of Webster and Sheffield today and tomorrow. Personally, I am excited to check out Rusted Root, who is playing at 8pm tonight. They are a personal favorite band of mine, so come join me! It only costs $6 before 5pm or $10 afterwards. Hope to see you there!
