Theatre on the Lake in Full Summer Swing

Every summer, the Chicago Park District produces several shows by local companies in its facility located on Fullerton Avenue and Lake Michigan. The CPD carefully curates this event, often choosing shows that were big underground hits in their original runs the previous year. A new show is featured each week through August 9th. Companies featured this year include Redmoon, Improvised Shakespeare, Theo Ubique (recently big winners at the 2009 Jeff Awards), Rivendell, Barrel of Monkeys, The Artistic Home and Eclipse. This one of a kind Chicago lakefront experience is not to be missed.

Details:

Performances run Wednesdays through Sundays. All shows begin at 7:30 pm; except on Sundays, shows begin at 6:30 pm.
