After a year of serious gigging, writing, and performing, Red Line District released their old lead singer in July of '07, and signed on an old friend, Ben VanBuskirk, to better fit their genre. This alternative rock band has established itself in Chicago by playing at such prominent venues as the Beat Kitchen, Elbo Room, and Double Door.
The band most recently hit the top of the charts at Lollapalooza’s Last Band Standing Competition, ranking 7th out of 1,000+ international bands. They are currently working on new material, and can be seen at the House of Blues Saturday, September 15th, opening for Within Temptation. Ben's raspier voice, front man status, and screamo abilities gives Red Line District the extra hot sauce you have been looking for. You're gonna want that!
