SCENIC ROUTE is an all original hard rock band based outside Chicago. The power and drive of their guitar driven riffs, along with the "forbidden sin" known as the guitar solo, shatter the stagnant sound found on the rock scene today. With the completion of their new five song EP titled: Totipotent: described as "aggressive classic rock with a shot of Jack" SCENIC ROUTE is pounding the scene gaining momentum with every venue they play.
If every suburban band were as accomplished as Scenic Route, the local hard rock scene would be renowned worldwide. Totipotent, the group's debut EP, is extraordinarily forceful, with cuts like "Sipapu" and "Overdriven" providing pile-driver beats even as "This Point" offers a pensive (but no less brawny) guitar and keyboards interlude.
