The Local Tourist is not only for you, it's by you! You can add business listings, events, specials, blog posts - you name it. This is your site.

First step to being a Local Tourist? Register!

Now that you've got your account, you can start adding content to TLT.

Add A Business

Use these forms to add your business. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for approval before it appears on The Local Tourist. If you'd like to be added immediately and include your logo and an unlimited description, please see our advertising information.

Please do not use these forms for events. If you have applied for an Events account you will receive a confirmation email when it is approved.

• Basic Listing: Use this form to add your business. Includes address, phone, website, and a map. Restaurants, Bars & Nightclubs please use the Basic Restaurant Bar Listing form.
• Basic Restaurant - Bar Listing: Use this form to add your restaurant, bar, or nightclub. Includes address, phone, website, and a map.
• Hotels & Lodging: Use this form to add your hotel, bed & breakfast, and resort.

Blogs & Community

• Blog Post: This form is for TLT contributors. Registered users please use the Local Tourist Blog Post form.
  If you'd like to be a Contributor, fill out the form at http://www.thelocaltourist.com/be-contributor-local-tourist.
• Local Tourist Blog Post: Local Tourists, a.k.a. registered users, can post blogs using this form.
• Forum Topic: Post this be part of the community! Ask & answer questions and participate in discussions.  

Add Events

To post events you must have an events account. If you did not apply for one during registration, email a request. If you have applied for an events account, please allow up to one business day for your account to be approved. After you've received a confirmation email that your Events account has been approved you can use the events form.

• Event Listing: Use this form for events. For discounts and specials, use the Specials form. If your store, shop or boutique is holding a sale, please use the Sales form.
• Event Listing - Live Music: Use this form if you're a live music venue or a band and you've got a show coming up.
• Sales Listing: Have a special sale? Enter your dates, details, etc.
• Specials: Happy hours, drink specials, and other special offerings from restaurants & bars

Add Media

To post songs and videos you need a band account. If you did not apply for one during registration, email a request. If you have applied for a band account, please allow up to one business day for your account to be approved. After you've received a confirmation email that your Band account has been approved you can use the media forms.

• Bands - Music: Bands can use this form to add songs to their profiles
• Bands - Music - Featured: Use this form to be on the voting page to be featured on the home page
• Bands - Video:  Bands can use this from to embed their videos.
