Kinzie Chophouse is a neighborhood American Steakhouse that
specializes in chops and American cuisine. Their wine list has
over 110 selections, with a focus on California vintages. They
received the 2002 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for their
well-thought out choices. Their full bar includes premium single-malt
scotches and vodkas. Specialty martinis are
available, as well as several after-dinner cordials and many
ports. They are also the only restaurant in Chicago to have
the Kinzie Cut, a flat-iron steak that is second in tenderness
only to the Filet, but whose flavor is reminiscent of more
full-bodied cuts.
