Kinzie Chophouse

map

Located across the street from the Merchandise Mart, Kinzie Chophouse is a frequent dining spot for designers, attorneys and tourists. Their eclectic menu serves everyone. You can find entrees ranging from comfort foods meatloaf and pot pie to pastas, sesame-crusted ahi tuna, and a 12 ounce lobster tail. But their specialty is, of course, steaks. Among their chop selections are dry-aged New York Strips, a bone-in filet, and a 48 ounce (yes, you read that right) Porterhouse. The servers bring out a tray with all of the steaks and will describe each cut. They know their meat! On Friday and Saturday nights expect to be entertained by a trio of  musicians who will serenade you with tunes in the vein of "Volare".

Mondays and Tuesdays are quieter evenings but are becoming increasingly popular as patrons can get all bottles of wine at half price with any two entrees. Wednesdays are definitely the quietest.
